What is LifeForce Yoga: Developed by Amy Weintraub, LifeForce Yoga practices are rooted in traditional active meditation and self-inquiry to embrace the complexities of our lives. LifeForce Yoga interweaves the power of an ancient disipline with accessible strategies for uncovering your most empowered sense of self. Using classical Hatha Yoga techniques, this discipline is intentionally designed to work with and manag the mood, so each individual can move into a more balanced (sattvic) and positve physical, mental and emotional state of equanimity and self-awareness.
LifeForce Practices Include:
- Pranayama and kriya breathing techniques that regulate the emotions
- Meditations that lift the mood
- Student created affirmation (sankalpa)
- LifeForce Yoga imagery (bhavana)ones that regulate the emotions (mantras)
- Yoga asanas suitable for multilevel practitioners
