Take time in the fullness of your days and join us for a Mini Weekend Yoga Retreat. The intention of this weekend offering is to retreat into a calm and sacred place within your own bodies to deeply reset & replenish yourselves physically and energetically.

Together we will focus on wringing out and massaging the digestive and lymphatic system with a slow fluid poses including side stretching and twist. Restorative and Yoga Nidra will be offered to create a steadiness and presence to remind us to turn inward and consciously renew and find balance. We will end out retreat on Sunday with a intentional 2 hour at home silent practice set up with guidance by Julie & Cheryl the day before.

JULIE HEPPE (Swami Samudrananda)

Julie has been teaching and studying all aspect of yoga since the late 80’s when she came upon the Temple of Kriya yoga in Chicago. It was there she became a devotee of Goswami Kriyananda and the teachings of Kriya Yoga. She has since been ordained as Swami Samudrananda, a spiritual name bestowed upon her after years of self-study and disciplined practices. It was during this time when she became passionate about the ancient philosophy of yoga and began to facilitate workshops & assist in spiritual guidance across the country. She recently arrived to Prescott via the west coast of Florida where she co-owed a yoga studio, lead teacher training’s, workshops, group & private classes with the most wonderful groups of people! You will find that Julie incorporates many styles of teaching into her classes. She has enjoyed the alignment of Iyengar, the discipline of Ashtanga, the energizing flow of vinyasa and the victorious breaths of Kundalini. Her classes are accessible to all levels of students and teachers.

CHERYL WALTERS

Cheryl Walters has been teaching and sharing the gifts of yoga since 2001. She is a Yoga Therapist, certified by the International Association of Yoga Therapists and has been the director and lead instructor for Yoga Intensive Studies Programs and Yoga teacher training for Yoga Alliance locally for over 13 years. She has trained over 100 yoga students to become yoga teachers and continues to mentor yoga teachers and yoga students Worldwide.

What separates Cheryl from other yoga mentor’s is her credibility & 20 years of experience with teaching yoga to different populations (Yoga for Vets, 12 Step Yoga, Yoga for M.S, PTSD & Trauma survivors, Healing from Body Image & Disordered Eating through yoga) and her years of being a successful professional yoga teacher and studio owner. Her guidance is rooted deeply in the belief of everyone’s infinite potential for greatness, never doubting the power of LOVE and never forgetting that our birthright is JOY!
